Over a total of three days (one trade day and two for the general public), Dwell on Design draws over 30,000 visitors to the Los Angeles Convention Center. 72 percent of them are trade professionals, 28 percent consumers. They are joined by more than 400 registered members of the press.
The organizers of Dwell on Design are expecting at least 400 exhibitors to take part in this year’s event.
One special feature of Dwell on Design is the lecture and educational program, which takes place on two stages with approx. 100 speakers and is supported by design institutions and colleges. The program enjoys excellent standing in design circles.
Accordingly, the audience that attends the design event exhibits a distinctive structure that differs from European trade shows in that it contains a very high share of both Early Adopters (consumers and creatives with an interest in design) and young designers and architects.
